The Mazama Trail is classified as an easy trail and is one of the most popular trails on Spence Mountain. The trail runs for just over 5 miles, with some slight uphill climbs as you progress. Try Spence Mountain's South Ridge Trail for an intermediate challenge on a trail that features steeper elevation changes and beautiful views. This trail checks in at 5.7 miles and features nearly 1,500 feet of upward climbs with a max grade of 14 degrees. The entrance is located close to the Spence Mountain trailhead for easy access, and a short detour from the high point of the trail will take you to the summit of Spence Mountain.

If you're in the mood for a challenge after running the Mazama Trail, be on the lookout for the connection to the Lower Hooligan Trail which is rated as intermediate/difficult. While the terrain of this trail makes for a more challenging run, the elevation is quite forgiving, with most of the 2.6-mile trail taking you downhill.
- Blueberry Trail – Moore Mountain, Klamath Falls, OR 97601
Our next three trails are all part of the Moore Mountain trail system, starting with the Blueberry Trail which is rated as easy. There's a very slight uphill climb along this trail, which runs for .8 miles. While the Blueberry Trail is quite short, it's an excellent connector for many other trails that can take you all around Moore Mountain.
- Klamath Ridgeview Trail – Moore Mountain, Klamath Falls, OR 97601
The Klamath Ridgeview Trail is one of the most popular trails that the Blueberry Trail connects to, with 4.1 miles to run, including both uphill and downhill sections. If you like beautiful views while you train, this trail is the perfect choice. There are spectacular views of Klamath Lake all along this trail, which makes it popular for bird watching and nature walks in addition to running.
- Sidewinder Trail – Moore Mountain, Klamath Falls, OR 97601
Rated as difficult, the Sidewinder Trail is one of the most challenging trails on Moore Mountain but is a great choice if you love a technical trail run. Though there are minimal elevation changes, the trail features challenging terrain with tons of twists and turns as you progress. This trail was created to be a challenge, delivering on that promise.
