Kitchen Pantry Organization - Fisher Nicholson Realty

Once you've searched through the Klamath Falls homes for sale and found the perfect property for your family, it's time to get to work on optimizing the space. Since your kitchen is one of the most-used rooms in the house, a well-organized pantry will do wonders. Here are a few tips that our real estate agents have put together on how to get it organized:

  • Start with a Pantry Reset
The first thing you'll want to do is start with a clean slate. Take every single item out of your pantry and set it aside. This will allow you to wipe down the interior and install any shelves or drawers (which we'll discuss in more detail later) that will help you optimize the space.

Budgeting for Renovations - Fisher Nicholson Realty

As you're looking at Klamath Falls homes for sale, you may decide to eschew a new, perfect house in favor of an older one you can fix up yourself. Not only is it a great way to save money, but it's also a great way to make your home exactly the way you want it. Unfortunately, it's also a great way to spend an obscene amount on renovations. Here are some ways you can keep those costs in check when fixing up your new home.

  • Budgeting. It's important to go in with a plan. Map out what renovations you want to do, how much you can expect them to cost, and how much you're willing to spend. Set a budget not just for the project as a whole but for each room. For instance, the kitchen is, on average, about 15% of your home's value. So the budget for kitchen renovations shouldn't exceed 15% of what you paid for the house. Breaking costs down this way will help you stay on budget.
