This year's Klamath Folk Festival takes place on Saturday, August 27, from noon to 7 PM. The festival takes place near Klamath Falls homes for sale at the historic Ross Ragland Theater, which has been hosting excellent local performances for decades, with bands performing on the main stage and in the courtyard. There will be food available from Mac and Cheese Steaks, Sarita's Taqueria, and Sugar Pine Treats, as well as drinks from Mia & Pia's Pizzeria & Brewhouse. A three-piece band comprised of Simon Chrisman and the brother-sister duo of Tashina and Tristan Clarridge, The Bee Eaters have created a unique sound with influences from jazz, bluegrass, Celtic, and old-time folk music. Members of this band have toured with groups and played at festivals around the world.
- Arthur Buezo – Main Stage – 2:45 PM
A new resident of the Klamath Falls area who moved to the region in 2021, Arthur Buezo was originally from Upstate New York, where he began to develop his unique brand of folk music. His music blends folk, grunge, and old western music to create a distinctive sound that has delighted audiences in the region since he arrived here.
- The Brothers Reed – Main Stage Headliner – 5:30 PM
The Brothers Reed, made up of brothers Aaron and Phil Reed along with bassist T.J. Eilers, will be headlining the main stage for this year's festival. Members of The Brothers Reed have played in bands ranging from punk to funk and bring a refreshing sound to the hundreds of shows they perform each year.
- High Desert Sun – Main Stage – 1:20 PM
Interested in hearing some local performers? High Desert Sun is made up of musicians from around the Klamath Falls area, including some local legends. They're busy working behind the scenes on new music, so it will be exciting to see what they bring to the festival.
- Dana Wirth – Courtyard – 1:30 PM
Born and raised in Klamath Falls, Dana Wirth is known for her energetic performances and powerful voice. She's performed around the world in operas, musicals, and as a singer of western ballads, with those diverse influences showing through in her performances.
