For nearly 40 years, the Klamath Snowflake Festival has been a true community tradition, supported by community members, local businesses, and non-profit organizations. This year's Klamath Snowflake Festival began on November 25, 2023, but there are several activities to look forward to from today through the December 10 closing date. The theme of this year's festival is "Country Christmas," with tons of fun, festive events to be enjoyed near Klamath Falls homes for sale, including the annual Snowflake Parade as the centerpiece. • Spot Santa All Around Klamath Falls
  Santa and the Snowflake Festival Princesses made their first appearance of the year on opening day of the Klamath Snowflake Festival, but there are still plenty of opportunities to spot them all around town for the duration of the event. Santa will be visiting many locations around Klamath Falls, including the Klamath County Library Downtown Branch, the Klamath County Fairgrounds, and many local businesses. • Drop Off Your Entry for the Gingerbread House Contest – 218 N. 7th St., Klamath Falls, OR 97601
  If you're reading this on the day of publication, then there's still time to drop off your entry for the Gingerbread House Contest! The final two drop-off dates for the contest are November 27 & 28, 2023, at Ross Ragland Theater. This contest is a great way to show off your festive creativity for the holidays, and there are always plenty of amazing entries. Even if you don't enter, you can view this year's entries when they're displayed in the windows of the Ross Ragland Theater lobby November 29 – December 8, 2023, with the award ceremony to follow on December 9.

• Fun and Fitness at the Ugly Sweater Run – 601 Harbor Isle Blvd., Klamath Falls, OR 97601
  With so much fantastic food on tables around Klamath Falls during the holidays, a festive 5K run/walk is a great way to fit some fitness into a busy December schedule. This year's Ugly Sweater Run takes place at the beautiful Harbor Links golf course on December 2, 2023. Don your favorite ugly sweater, and enjoy some time outdoors on a crisp, refreshing, early December day.

• Catch the Klamath Falls Tree Lighting Ceremony – 1112 Main St., Klamath Falls, OR 97601
  The annual Klamath Falls Tree Lighting Ceremony is always a highlight of the Snowflake Festival, with Santa and the Snowflake Festival Princesses presiding over the lighting of the large tree in Klamath Commons. You can catch the tree lighting on December 4, 2023, starting at 5 p.m.

• Don't Miss the Snowflake Festival Parade – Main Street, Klamath Falls, OR 97601
  The Snowflake Festival Parade is the big event that the whole festival is built around and presents the perfect opportunity to see how talented, dedicated local groups have adapted the "Country Christmas" theme into their presentations. It's a wonderful tradition for the whole family and an event worth circling on your calendar. You can enjoy this year's Snowflake Festival Parade on December 7, 2023, starting at 7 p.m.
