Get into the Holiday Spirit at These Klamath Falls Events | Fisher Nicholson Realty

Getting into the holiday spirit isn't always easy, especially when you've just moved to a new area. Not only are you exhausted from the move, but you don't know the area well enough to know where the fun holiday events are. Where can you go to see lights? Hear Christmas music? Visit Santa? There are plenty of great places near Klamath Falls homes for sale to do all that and more. Here are a few local holiday events that aren't to be missed.

  • Klamath Snowflake Festival - 1775 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, OR 97603
For 40 years, the Klamath Snowflake Festival has been the premiere winter event in Klamath Falls. Taking place through December 14th, it includes music, light displays, craft displays, a gingerbread house contest, a canned food drive, an ugly sweater run, and much more. Santa will be there throughout the festival to light the tree, take pictures, tell stories, and even have milk and cookies with your family! Many locals hold their own events as part of the festival, so it's a great opportunity to meet your neighbors!

  • Klamath Snowflake Parade - Main Street, Klamath Falls, OR 97601
The apex of the Snowflake Festival, the Klamath Snowflake Parade is a beloved annual tradition where local businesses, clubs, groups, and individuals march down Main Street, spreading holiday cheer. Taking place this year on Thursday, December 5th, from 7-9 p.m., it's got lights, music, decorations, and, of course, Santa. It's a perfect event to kick off the holiday season.

  • Klamath Christmas Market and Craft Fair - 4039 S. 6th St., Klamath Falls, OR 97603
Holiday shopping is always better when you can support local businesses. Whether you're buying decorations for your home, getting gifts for friends, or just browsing to get into the holiday spirit, you'll want to check out Klamath Christmas Market and Craft Fair. Running Saturday, December 14th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, December 15th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., it features 20 local vendors selling everything from art to housewares to baked goods. Free hot cocoa and cider will also be provided. Plus, you can bring your kids to see Santa from 2:30-4 p.m. on Sunday.

  • Bonanza Hometown Holiday Celebration - 2849 Market St., Bonanza, OR 97623
Getting into the holiday spirit is easy near Bonanza homes for sale. December 7th, the Bonanza Hometown Holiday Celebration starts at 1 p.m. at the Fire Hall, where your kids can meet Santa. Then, at 5 p.m. is the Holiday Light Parade, followed by the park lighting. There are also light contests for both residences and businesses in the area, plus free hot chocolate for all attendees. It's an annual tradition in Bonanza and a great way to meet others in the community this holiday season.

  • Christmas with the Celts - 218 N. 7th St., Klamath Falls, OR 97601
If you're a fan of Irish music, you'll want to check out Christmas with the Celts at 7 p.m. December 10th at the Ragland Theater. Part of the Celts band's national tour, the concert features classic Christmas carols, traditional Irish songs, and some of the Celts' original releases. Alongside the music, they also have Irish dance, jokes, and more. It's a holiday experience not to be missed.
