The 2026 Oregon State Snowmobile Convention is the biggest event of the winter for anyone who loves snowmobiling around Klamath Falls, with a mix of rides, social events, contests, and meetings around the community. Enjoy four days packed with outdoor adventures and great social environments from January 28-31, 2026.

There are daily rides at some of the most popular snowmobile spots around Klamath Falls, and riders of all experience levels attend the convention, so it's easy to find a riding group that suits your style. These rides will introduce you to some of the best local trails and sno-parks, which are maintained for snowmobiling throughout the winter.

There's a 9-mile, groomed snowmobile trail here that circles the rim of Crater Lake, offering varied terrain and fantastic views of the natural scenery. The route of the trail is along the Main Entrance Road, which you can connect to from Highway 138.

Great Meadow Sno-Park – Klamath Falls, OR

The terrain at Great Meadow Sno-Park was shaped with snow sports in mind, with more than 165 miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. The large parking lot holds up to 50 vehicles with trailers, making it a convenient spot for snowmobiling. The trails here are well-maintained throughout the winter, and typically have 3-5 feet of snow cover as winter progresses. In addition to the local trails, many here connect with larger networks that extend across Southern Oregon.

Annie Creek Sno-Park – Fort Klamath, OR

Address: Fort Klamath, OR 97626

Located about 10 miles from historic Fort Klamath, Annie Creek Sno-Park offers an expansive trail system ideal for snowmobiling. Most trails here are only used for snowmobiling, so it's a great place to visit when you want to avoid other traffic from different winter sports. There's also a convenient, cozy warming shelter with benches and a wood stove where you can relax between runs, along with an interpretive kiosk where you can learn more about the location. Sledding is the other popular activity here, with a large, bowl-shaped hill next to the warming shelter.
