Let's take a look at some of the best Fourth of July fireworks viewing spots!
Central Point Fourth of July Freedom Festival bills itself as the "event of the year" in Central Point, and for good reason! Celebrations begin early in the morning, as the parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m. on the 4th of July. The Festival then takes over Pfaff Park with everything you'd expect from a good 4th of July:
Free activities for the kids
Food vendors
Artisan booths
Contests
Live music
When evening falls, and the performances wind down, the event wraps up with a fireworks show that you won't soon forget. Be sure to bring a towel or chair so you can find the right spot for you and your family in Pfaff Park!
Ashland Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Celebration is happening on July 4, starting from Triangle Park. It all begins at 9:30 a.m. with a parade down Main Street. The parade ends on Water Street, and the celebrations will continue at Lithia Park. There'll be food booths, craft booths, a special "Kid's Zone," live performances, and Ashland Aerial Arts. Stick around Lithia Park for the fireworks show or head on to Boomfest at the Expo!
Boomfest at the Expo is Southern Oregon's largest 4th of July fireworks display. It all happens at a great venue, the Jackson County Expo. The volunteer fire department will be on hand for safety as local residents light up the night with their fireworks. Bring your own, watch others, or both, starting at dusk.
Red, White, and Pool is a fantastic way to kick off your July 4th holiday, starting at 1 p.m. with free open swim, free food, live music, and contests.
Lake of the Woods 4th of July BBQ is sponsored by Lake of the Woods Resort and will run from 4 to 8 p.m. on July 4th. There'll be an outdoor barbecue featuring live music by The Roadsters. Once you've had time to make a plate, settle in for the fireworks and Laser Light Show.
