Located in the Fremont-Winema National Forest, Rainbow Bay makes a perfect spot for a day outing. Want a longer stay? The park offers campgrounds and cabins, and the site is adjacent to the popular Lake in the Woods Resort. 

Rainbow Bay features the following activities:

Rainbow Bay is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m., and admission is $10 per vehicle.

Wood River - Klamath Falls, OR

Visitors head to Wood River, a quick 20-minute drive from Chiloquin homes for sale, for a brisk swim in the spring-fed, turquoise-hued waters. Be sure to bring Fido along, as dogs are permitted to swim. Wood River is also known for its birdwatching and wildlife-spotting opportunities

Hours are two hours before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset daily. Admission is free.

No planning needed for a visit to Ella Redkey Pool, thanks to its convenient location in downtown Klamath Falls. Group and private swim lessons are available for all skill levels, for ages 6 months and up.

Malin Swimming Pool - Malin, OR

Tucked in the Modoc National Forest at an elevation of 6,770 feet, Medicine Lake Recreation Area provides a full assortment of activities on the namesake body of water. The dog-friendly site, just minutes from Tulelake homes for sale, includes five campgrounds for both tents and RVs.

Medical Lake Recreation Area is open for day use until 10 p.m. Fees are $5 per vehicle for day use and $15 per night for camping.

Juanita Lake - Macdoel, CA

Surrounded by ponderosa pines, Juanita Lake offers a serene atmosphere not far from Macdoel homes for sale. Motorboats aren't permitted on the lake, leaving it undisturbed for swimmers and paddlers. Leashed dogs are welcome.
