Klamath Falls, OR Waterfalls - Fisher Nicholson Realty

Klamath Falls is a poetic-sounding name, but it also aptly describes the surrounding area. Our real estate agents know that convenient access to these stunning locations is one of the benefits of Klamath Falls homes for sale.

As home to the deepest lake in the country, it's no surprise that the park is also the site of scenic waterfalls. The remote area creates a peaceful ambiance, but the short hike makes this outing a good choice for families with kids and people with limited mobility. Crater Lake National Park is open 24/7 and the $30 per car admission fee is good for seven days.

Things to Do at Crater Lake - Fisher Nicholson Realty

Interested in moving to Klamath Falls, Oregon? This city has a lot to offer its residents, especially those who prefer beautiful scenery and outdoor space to cosmopolitan attractions. Let's take a look at five popular activities to do at Crater Lake, one of the most distinctive landmarks near our Klamath Falls homes for sale.

  1. Hike the Garfield Peak Trail - Crater Lake National Park, Crater Lake, OR 97604
This trail along the rugged outer edge of Oregon's Crater Lake offers some spectacular views of the water, Wizard Island, and the surrounding cliffs. At just 3 to 4 miles or 2 to 3 hours of walking, the Garfield Peak Trail is a relatively short and easy trek, so even occasional hikers can enjoy it. It also tends to be slightly less crowded than the nearby Mount Scott Trail, which offers similar views. You can do the hike alone or with a group led by an assigned ranger from the Crater Lake Lodge.
