  1. Hogback Mountain Trail – Klamath Falls, OR 97603
    Though a large part of Hogback Mountain is privately owned, many areas, including the Hogback Mountain Trail, are open to hikers. The Hogback Mountain Trail is a 3.5-mile, out-and-back trail that presents a significant challenge and rewards your efforts with spectacular views. With over 1,700 feet of elevation over just 3.5 miles of trail, this is one of the steeper trails on the list, so be aware while traversing some of the more challenging sections.
